Taking the Tesla Technology to a studio reference headphone for mixing, mastering and monitoring: the DT 1770 Pro features a modern and elegant design with components including end pieces, yokes, ear cups and headband that are very durable.

The DT 1770 PRO is a perfect circumaural headphone for high-end studio use of mixing and mastering. Due to its closed design with a high ambient noise attenuation, it is perfect for users in loud environments such as sound engineers when listening to PA systems or musicians.

The closed-back design offers a wide soundstage and excellent resolution together with a precise, natural bass output making these headphones the top pick for professional studio use. Background noise is effectively suppressed, and leakage minimized thanks to the closed-back design. The DT 1770 Pro walks the fine line between pure flat response and slight boosting in certain frequency ranges to allow for clarity, richness, and depth. The clean highs are balanced with full-bodied, deep bass.

Employing Beyerdynamic's Tesla 2.0 technology for the first time in professional headphones, the drivers utilize a triple layer composite diaphragm to reduce 'partial oscillations,' which results in a more detailed audio performance.

The DT 1770 PRO is very durable. The headband has been constructed from steel and replaceable headband pads that are high on comfort for long listening sessions. All components are replaceable and ensure a long lifetime of the headphone.

Two pairs of ear pads are included in order to achieve the ideal sound characteristic depending on the use case. Velour ear pads provide an open sound and are perfect for mixing and mastering. A pair of leatherette ear pads provide a more closed sound making the headphones more well suited to monitoring applications.

The headphones come with two detachable cables, one straight and one coiled; a premium protective carry case, two sets of velour & leatherette earpads and two gold-plated -inch headphone jack adapters.
